Sol- Area of trapezium = 1/2 * sum of parallel sides * shorter distance/given distance
= 1/2 * (2p + 3p) * 12
= 1/2 * 5p * 12 = 30p
or, 480 = 30p or, 1p = 480/30 = 16cm
so, longer side of the trapezium = 3p = 3 * 16 = 48cm
option d correct.

Sol- Non square rhombus only differs in angles with square rhombus. In sides all sides are equal.
4 * sides of rhombus = 20cm
or, side= 20/4 = 5 cm
Q3. A street of width 10 meters surrounds from outside a rectangular garden whose measurement is 200m * 180 m . The area of the path in sq.metre is ?

Sol- Here street of width 10metre from outside has been given so, new width of an rectangular filed will be = 200 +10+10 = 220m
and length will be = 180 + 10 + 10 = 200m
New area = 220 * 200 = 44000 sq.metre
this will area of garden with street.
area of garden without street = 200 * 180 = 36000 sq. metre.
hence, area of path = 44000 - 36000 = 8000 sq. metre
option a is correct.
Q4. Find the area of a rectangular hexagon of side 2root3 cm?

Sol- Area of regular hexagon= 3root3/2 * (side)^2
= 3 root three /2 * 2root3 * 2root 3
