The RRB JE (Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer) exam consists of two stages:



Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1

 * Number of Questions: 100

 * Marks per Question: 1

 * Total Marks: 100

 * Duration: 90 minutes

 * Subjects:

   * Mathematics: 30 questions

   * General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions

   * General Awareness: 15 questions

   * General Science: 30 questions

 * Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer



Stage 2: Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2

 * Number of Questions: 150

 * Marks per Question: 1

 * Total Marks: 150

 * Duration: 120 minutes

 * Subjects:

   * General Awareness: 15 questions

   * Physics & Chemistry: 15 questions

   * Basics of Computers and Applications: 10 questions

   * Basics of Environment and Pollution Control: 10 questions

   * Technical Abilities: 100 questions


 * Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer

 * The minimum qualifying marks for both CBT 1 and CBT 2 is 40%.
